What does operation and further development mean with us exactly?
It means someone takes care of hosting, maintenance, and ongoing improvements, so your application runs reliably day to day. Instead of the software slowly ageing after launch, it stays current, secure, and keeps evolving with your needs.
What is included in the fixed monthly price?
The operating package covers hosting, maintenance, security updates, monitoring, backups, and ongoing further development at a fixed price. Smaller adjustments are built in, so you do not have to renegotiate for every improvement.
What does it cost, and why a fixed price instead of an hourly sheet?
We work at a fixed monthly price, so your operation stays predictable. An hourly model rewards effort, a fixed price rewards a stable, well-maintained operation. We set the scope to fit your application, instead of leaving you in the dark with an open bill.
Why are security updates so important?
Because the risk is real. According to Bitkom, cyberattacks, espionage, and sabotage cause the German economy an annual loss in the hundreds of billions, and the vast majority of companies were affected recently. Regular updates of dependencies and the base system keep your application secure, instead of letting it become vulnerable over time.
How fast do you respond to a problem?
We agree on fixed response times that match the criticality of your application: faster for a real outage, more relaxed for a small adjustment. That way you know in advance what you can rely on, instead of hoping for the best.
Who owns the code and data while you operate it?
You do, throughout. Even when we run the operation for you, the code and data remain your property and accessible to you. You have access to your repository at any time, you do not lease your operation from us.
How do I get out again?
At any time, because there is no lock-in. Because you own the code and data and everything is documented, the operation can be handed over cleanly, to your own team or another provider. We supply access, a runbook, and the necessary handover, instead of making the exit harder.
Who is this worth it for, and who not?
It is worth it for companies that run a custom or AI application in production but do not have their own team for ongoing operation. If you have strong internal IT, you can also run it yourself: in that case we hand over cleanly and you decide what to outsource.
